This is a surprise.. did this get axed or was it planned as a short series? I'm surprised t hey didnt try to milk the JJK franchise further after the originals popularity.

the best way to break a cycle is to leave a new one in its place, I only wish I could stick with these wonderful characters a lil longer to see the end result of their work lol

wasn't sure what to expect from Modulo when it was revealed to be a JJK follow up (with aliens involved?! wild...) but I found myself pretty consistently impressed by this story on a weekly basis. It was cool seeing Gege buckle down on a more constrained story like this, I think his writing really shined here despite the much shorter run. His character writing is always a joy and he got to go all in on the themes of it all, made for a riveting time. Iwasaki Yuji's art was also a pretty stellar matchup to JJK's aesthetic, there are multiple panels, pages, and two-page spreads in this story that are absolute standouts for me, even compared against some JJK pages that have been favorites of mine for a while lol

nothing's ever flawless but this story reminded me of what made JJK so exciting to read on a weekly basis while giving me plenty of new stuff to love so, that makes it pretty cool in my book

Stuck true to the 3 Volumes worth of content ending off on a rather decent note, unless the publishers somehow rope Gege into writing more JJK indefinitely/JJK side stories, I wonder what plans he has next in the future.

Gege in his infinite wisdom, underestimated the planned scope and pre emptively axed his own manga causing this rushed ending without time to breathe because the Mahoraga fight took up a bulk of the manga.

It was nice reading JJK again, I've really missed Gege's work. Extremely sad that Megumi got nothing but a one line mention for the entire series and I would've liked a little more focus on the older characters but I really enjoyed it despite that.

um, why did Nobara looks so old compare to Yuji?? weird.
That aside, this is overall nice short series.

Pretty fun series for the most part probably could've used a couple more chapters.
Shame Megumi isn't present at the end would've been a nice wrap up to have those 3 together again (At least the Megumi slander memes have been funny af)

The manga met its intended length. From the beginning, it was stated that it would be a short manga.

I know this isn't the end most wanted... myself, I still don't like they took juryoku from people, but... I have the feeling this won't go so hunky-dory like that, this was a fundamental alteration of things, done in a "slapdash" way... this is practically a bet more than a plan.

And considering there is another inhabited planet that has juryoku, and things work differently there... well... a lot of possibilities there.

Dabura came back for his lady, I mean... he did resign from the patriarch position right after XD.

You know... I find this end kinda fitting in a way, it almost feels like Gege is getting off of our frustration XD.

But I have to say... Iwasaki-sensei's art was a surprise, it took me a few chapters, but I REALLY like his art, and I think the most important part is that he is able to do the same dynamism in movement that Gege can.

I hope to see more stories made in this world, maybe in the far future, see the consequences of what they did here.

But at the same time... wouldn't mind a new story from Gege and Iwasaki.

Well, here for the next adventure.

JJK3 would have the main character eats Yuji's cursed object. but the MC here is horrendous people and Yuji would fight him from the inside

that was short. what a mess of ideas. there are lot of interesting take, but man the way author conveyed is just jumbled out of nowhere fest. and because how convoluted it was, it immediately fell of same over narration pitfall that made it more boring then it should be. then author had to made it worse with inconsistent pacing. honestly if it was more well paced, better established, more coherency, and better focused, i would've like this one probably more than main series. what a waste of potential. but i do admit it was interesting read. 6/10

the clack at the end signifying that Dabura came back was great (its the sound of his horns hitting the top of the door, same as the first time they meet in chapter 11 )
