• eat all the samples he made himself (no evidence left)
• gave one to Ms. Snake to be analyzed

Without the context, and leaving some details, Tateo will just look like a hopeless nobody who just want to cure his ED.

But this is a manga and since that copper is on the Volume 7 cover, I figure that things won't sail that smooth for Tateo.

She basically tripped him from the start, because even if he was able to pull off that lie, the police officer would eventually go to investigate the apartment... and then would realize he's the owner and that the daughter of the conman lived there.
