Not much I guess. It felt like an intermezzo that avoided most of the important events simply to give Marie-Antoinette some screen time again.

I also like it's been really long ago since Saint-Just walked away into the night and Fran and Maximilian haven't yet discussed this at any point and just went to a doctor and then had wild sex. I doubt the thread will be left dangling but it's weird for them to not at least mention it or show some concern.
