dare i say that this is actually pretty good....rlly like how the author is consistent and doesn't leave plot holes,it's actually pretty refreshing
The plot seems really well planned out though cooled off a little bit for a while, at least the French revolution plot focusing a bit on trivial side-plots like the pregnancy though of course the insanity and memory loss of both main characters ties into it well, but on the other hand, that also gives the world a lot of depth. It really feels like the story of a lot of different characters intersecting. I have no doubt that at one point we'll see a chapter that shows what happened to Saint-Just as well though I'd say one big hole is that Fran and Maximilian just don't talk about it, aren't concerned and aren't searching.
I hope the revolution plot is going to pick up steam again though. I do hope for a final climatic confrontation between Louis XVI and Maximilian Robespierre which will decide the fate of France.
Also, it wasn't featured in the last issue of
Cheese!, in case you should wonder, maybe next month, maybe another long hiatus which I hope not.
