I'm guessing it's gonna be a "fantasy story with yuri" instead of a "yuri fantasy" (first word(s) being the emphasis).

If the manga takes after the novel, then it will mostly be fantasy slice-of-life (of the "big things happen but the protagonist is so massively overpowered that nothing ever matters" variety) with a light dash of yuri. Very stereotypical, except that it's a genuine little girl instead of an adult from Japan.

This feels like a pretty rushed start though; even with 40 pages to work with, it skipped over most of the details of the novel's first couple chapters.
