Oh, Wendy... that's just your plain naivete and immaturity showing. The enemy has, very clearly, already taken control of most, if not all, of the soldiers, including the strongest soldier there. You can't save them. The magic they use is unknown, and it's clear to me you aren't prepared to take a life, which would be the one of the few plausible ways of saving all of them.
