Senkouji was dispatched so early and quickly that I enjoyed delving deeper into his character this time.

This is a fair point. A counter argument is they are so irredeemable that no background is interesting enough at this point in the story's arc to cause many readers to go back and start to care about them as characters, if they can even remember their names.

This isn't even funny to read out of curiosity. Its like reading NTR doujinshis and be angry at yourself for doing it, when everything you get from reading them is flabbergastedness of how ridiculously retarded the plot/character behaviours are.
At least NTR sometimes has the nice art going for it, something this manga doesn't really - at least not in past many chapters.
