While I appreciate the cool makeshift torture I just can't help but feel her revenge is shoehorned into the story too abruptly, something like, "Hey, look! It's still a revenge manga if she has a grudge on this sub-boss, yeah?"

I can understand exploring the roster and strengthening their plot relevance, but I do hope we'll get more clues on Kyou soon after this. He's getting kind of forgotten in the backburner, I swear.

this chick and the serial killer guy didn't exist until this arc, chick spent like 80% of this arc in constant rape peril, and now the artist finally gets to draw torture porn again

theyre just padding time until they have to end the manga. the manga seriously should have ended at the school gym.

There's something less edgy about this torture.... I know Shun had to whip up something. Usually the author's delivery is existentially wounding. We never got a chance to know much about these guys cause Shun has minimal history. I think the quick flashback of Reo and Rio is probably going to lead to some type of existential "reveal" in present time rather than in a flashback.
