I expect these newly introduced characters to get murdered or mutilated by the remaining targets, so this whole arc is all about making them matter as characters, but somehow this feels really forced and superfluous. It's just too difficult to imagine the MC caring at all about school (which uses for sleeping anyway) or anything else but revenge, so this merely leaves me with a feeling of it being meaningless. If he at least had a legit cover to maintain, like that of a weakling, it might be more sensible, but as it is, the villains know what he's doing, so what's the point? Uruma certainly didn't go out of his way to hide his feelings from the cops, either. It's only all the random, nameless students from the school who don't know anything, but why do they matter?
