One thing I thought was a little subtle but which I loved, is how when she grabs the flame at that part, it makes the same sound effect that she described it as the first time she did magic. Her staring in the abyss of her fire on page 13 is kind of crazy
I don't think so. All she needed (a different perspective on the nature of magic and a sufficient image) she already had. She just had to take a final step to consciously apply them. I actually do like this, because it's not some McGuffin boosting her but the application of what she has learned and gained on her journey so far. It's nice to see Tina getting some story focus, but ehhh... It feels like this "upgrade" for her came a bit too easily.
I'm not sure it was an "upgrade" as much as it was removing mistakes her magic school built into her education. It's nice to see Tina getting some story focus, but ehhh... It feels like this "upgrade" for her came a bit too easily.
Thank you so much for translating this wonderful series! While it’s a different story, it reminds me of Dungeon Meshi & Frieren in tone. I really appreciate the work you do bringing wonderful stories like this to more people. Lots of love, and more power! 💕Sorry for the lack of releases the past two? months, but at least we're back with hopefully 6 chapters for the next two weeks
