I think there's the chance of Zuka having a "neutralization" ability where he becomes all neutral and just his thoughts are natural so Kyou's ability gets through it, that's why we don't see much of Kyou's ability's viewpoint anymore...

@siscon I actually wouldn't be surprised if the prince likes Kyou. Though how he seems to be avoiding being seen in situations when El is around, maybe...
