It was good terms as his skills were teaching based so he couldn't keep up as the party has outgrown him.

After the new booba girl straight out refuse the offer to join the hero since she's thirsty for alex and want to chase after him, the childhood friend knew she must act fast too

the hero kinda become a joke at this point lol and the main problem for the childhood friend is surprisingly... bureaucracy, just like in real life lol and convincing the mc that she and leader is not dating

If she would use her brain a bit, she should've stopped the MC, or at the very least try to talk with him in private somewhere else on the first chapter, because there's definitely something wrong when he suddenly quits the party, since he was doing alright during their last quest.

He said he was leaving, he didn't say he was leaving the group, since he thinks she knows that part 'everyone' voted him out after all. By the time she finds out he left the group, he's already in another continent.
