Very minor word choice issue; I know they can be interchangeable, but hanged is almost exclusively used to refer to someone that was executed by hanging. Hung would be the more accurate use since it is more commonly used for objects like the jerky.

But don't mess up lighted versus lit. Hanged/hung is a unique case simply because of the connotations.
