i mean i know this is a horror one shot but you'd think if there was such a suspicious guy lingering around, non supernatural elements aside, that there'd be some cops patrolling if not neighborhood watch

But oof you'd think they'd tell her the truth instead of kidnapping her versus just drugging her/some place further away to where ppl wouldn't find her 'rescue' messages /letters, if not do a dna test from the very start/the first day of kidnapping with a lock of her hair or so

oof, i guess she's gonna spend the rest of her life in jail if she someone doesn't get an insanity/self defense plea
