That's really poor of her. Modern phones have face unlock, fingerprint and so on. Japanese (and some Korean) authors these days are too far behind in terms of technology.

Maybe she's like me, not bother to lock the phone.
I do that incase I involve in some accident of trouble, and someone try to contact my family or use the phone to call for help.
