I kinda wish that pillar of light behind the hero isn't the girl's doing.
Something like, "it actually appears before I finished casting the spell!" That kinda thing.
Kinda justified his whole chosen thing since that means he's actually the chosen and not some randos they picked.

Still doesn't justify not even a single adults helping them on their journey tho.

Kinda wish our magus MCs mirror could change the location that's viewed in it. Someone carrying a steel hand mirror or simply a polished shield would allow him "to tag along" on adventure...
He'd be like an enchanted "know it all" item you see with books and such.

Having the events happen this close together is a contrivance, yes, but I'm willing to let it slide since they've repeatedly stated that things are changing due to the demons' presence. It makes sense that someone would seek out infinite knowledge when things start going south. That being said, we don't know who this guy is, or what he wants, so it could easily be something stupid. We just have to wait until the next chapter to see.

I actually wished mthis was like "bathroom Goddess" where his mirror pops up eveywhere "randomly" but since the last page show that people can actually go to his location I guess it wont happen 😕

First quest cleared.
It was quite underhanded but better than forcing Hero to go by kidnapping the Witch. With this choice, Hero gained a party member.
