Not only it is well-known an IQ test is not a proper way of checking one's intelligence because there are different kinds of intelligence (for a personal example, my own test, applied by a certified psychologist, resulted in high value for "default" inteligence but low social inteligence),
there are neurodivergences like ADHD and autism that alter how intelligence can be utilized. You know those famous autistic people who are genius in one specific thing? While just because we are autistic does not mean we are going to be genius at something like there, or idiots in everything else, our intelligence is still focused in even more specific areas instead of spread to everything like (I assume) a "normal" brain would keep it.

I didn't talk about IQ, because it's a massively dumbed down way of calculating intellect.
I know that today when people talk about intelligent they think that being intelligent is some god like ability that make someone smart in everythings, but that's not what i'm saying.

Like you explained an autist can be smart, and most smart people are only intelligence for some specifics things (like how genius in math are not as good in physics or language).
But in the end all people who have the same "level" of intelligence in a field can be realtively easily compared. That's what i say when i say that it's not relative.

In the end the only relative thing with intelligence is how people "normie" try to paint intelligence.
Because when you speak with intelligent people you dont realy see a difference between an autist or someone "normal" exept how they express themself.

Intelligence isn't objective. In fact, most of the time, intelligence is retarded. The smartest people in the world are often the dumbest jackasses too, as implausible as that sounds. It's easy to look at a smart person and think "Wow, this man is a genius" but then you talk to them and find out "Wow, he's a genuine dummkopf". It happened to me so many times already.

Besides, this is a comedy manga where the main character is a genius in everything except common sense, which is also incredibly common in real life. Lighten up.

I dont get why you being an engineer would give your statement more weight. You can be an engineer for everything today.

I know a few people with master's degree, and most of them are as average intelligent as people who dont have any degree.

I'm guessing that was kinda the point.

Dude has a masters degree, meaning he knows others that not just graduated but also have masters in it.
Those people are usually taken as very intelligent.
If he says that many of those very intelligent people are also very dumb, he probably had enough experience with them to know.
