Because leaving words untranslated even though these have acceptable equivalents in English is jarring, completely unnecessary, and sounds awkward? And unless you mainly read stuff by the translators ieatass69 is referring to this isn't even as common as you think.

To be fair to this group, though, they only use "Aruji-sama." It's not as exaggerated as how some groups/translators (like Squiggles) do it, where words like "ofuro" are left untranslated even though "bath" could've been more than enough.

Dude aruji-sama It's just another honorific, look many group here don't translate honorific like onii chan, senpai, sensei etc. So why this group can't do it too.

And it's weird that you mad about honorific it's funny, because many group are doing fine continue use it for years so it's basically you problem lol

To be clear, I wasn't referring to honorifics. Honorifics are completely acceptable to me as these don't always have direct translations in English that don't sound awkward in everyday conversation - hence why these are usually left untranslated.

In hindsight, while I share ieatass69's opinion on translations done by groups like SquigglesJP I find his take that this group is a SquigglesJP "wannabe" is unfair and unwarranted.

Uh What iatas guy and the above one is talking about aruji-sama which is just another honorific. It's the same as senpai, sensei and oniii chan all of it have direct translation to English duh, and yet the majority group here in this very site still kept using it to this day's.

I suppose my initial opinion of the group was a bit too harsh. Though, I would say it's not like it's entirely based on nothing. From my experience, these kinds of groups usually learn nothing and will keep doing the same shit because it's quirky. I will gladly apologize if the group comes out, fixes their translation, and actually keeps up the quality for later releases. Hell, I'll let them slap my ass a few times as an apology.

The other dumbass is just not worth my time replying to lmao

Yes, "aruji-sama" is an honorific but no, we weren't just referring to honorifics.

It's clear we aren't on the same page so this is the last time I'll be replying to you in this thread.

Welp, that's a pretty big drop in translation quality. Sucks to drop this.
