I don't really like the mc. His personality is pretty nonexistent. He's a wet blanket on the already mediocre comical moments. Major edgelord vibes. I don't have a strong hatred or annoyance toward it, its just boring.

Yeah. It doesn't look like their powers involve power over death, so it is a weird choice of word. A big mistranslation.
