I mean, considering one of them spent their lives training under a famous swordsman for the sole purpose of becoming strong enough they could make sure no one would be able to separate them again, and one of them spent that same amount of time being a well-taken-care-of court jester at best, i feel like he’s carrying his weight pretty well.

It’s way too early in something with this heavy a shonen vibe to say where he’ll end up, and it’s not like he needs to be able to fight to contribute anyway - it’s thanks to him they found leo so quickly, after all.
