I'm assuming that Mikado is the arranged partner that Oko and the rest have lined up for Kaguya. The Shinomiyas probably want to try to rejoin the families to recover their strength and reduce their enemies. I don't think that's what Mikado wants, though. I think he's working to sabotage the arranged marriage. This is a lot of guesswork, though.
