It's sad that Kaguya apparently wasn't able to connect with her father. I thought that with his health failing him, that he or she would take the plunge and finally extend a hand. I guess Kaguya did visit him once talhay we saw, but he wasn't really present for that meeting. I think both of them were a bit too prideful and/or scared to really try to connect after so much time had passed with nothing. The nothing became more comfortable than the risk of trying to connect.

I don't know, but it's a bummer that she'll never get the chance to really talk to him.
