Of course, let's fire the guy who literally leads the party with having not even half of the party agree to it. At least it seems like the two girls are going to quit and follow him at the way the artwork looks.

I'm enjoying that some of these "kick the main reason our party is a success" stories we've been getting lately have started having part of the party actually quit as well and follow the guy. This is about the third or fourth one now like that.

After the 10000000th expelling manga there is a new shield rising harem protagonist! Sigh, another one to the daily trash to chew list.

Oh look. This plot again. But lazier.

It's gonna have a short runway to show me something worth holding my attention.

I've read the first volume of the light novel. It's got a fun little twist.

He's basically a sociopath. Not quite a serial killer, but being thrown out of his party really doesn't bother him overmuch. Later (guessing chapter 4 or 5 of the manga) he has to kill some people and he does so in a very very brutal and very very horrific fashion, without even a little emotion.

The twist is a similar twist to Moonlit Journey which I really enjoy so, it's interesting to see. All said it's not your bog standard "Underappreciated MC is betrayed" story -- for one, two of the his party immediately don't put up with the dudebros pulling that shit, so...

The first LN is about him helping the Dragon Queen break out, which it looks like we'll see starting in Chapter 2 of the manga. But it's also important to note that these are all references to his world's creation / fundamental mythos, only they're... twisted. The characters are not matching what the Church teaches. And the Church isn't happy about a farm boy who can mess with the status quo, manipulate talents, or undo the monster corrupted zones which lessens the Church's influence.
