Is not false at all. The princesses are totally brainwashed into it.
And the other girls actually have good reasons to be all over him. Look like you wanna see the awful princesses snap out of it and try to re-enslave or kill him. But i doubt this is gonna happen, if not for Keyaru to give their memories back just to make them take a look at the ruins of their kingdom and their father corpse, and rape them while they are still crying about it.

The only reason he managed to come out with such a tactic is cause he care about Kureha this much. Even if he realized he could do it before probably he wouldn't anyway for the high risk involved.
