Bait the audience with extremely edgy violence so they get hooked, then turn your story into generic fantasy pseudo-tensei slop because, let's face it, you're not a really good writer.
Between this and the artistic nosedive the manga has been through, it's a hell of a downfall.
Bro is hate reading 70+ chs in, this is so sad can we get 50 likes? 😭😭😭

I think it would be kind of hilarious if the story ended with Keyaru reversing the brainwash on Freya, Kureha and Norn for maximum mindbreak, but at this point I'm expecting them to go "yeah I understand why you did all that we're cool with you".

Also, jfc can we stop about wanting to have Freya or Norn to be reverse brainwashed? I swear yall can only say a few phrases about this manga like a braindead parrot smh...

Bullet got punished and got a karmic punishment the last ln is another time reset
This is kinda a plotpoint from the last Novel so it might be best to spoiler tag it but to comment on it.
...seriously? The Problem with Time reset endings is usually that they often erase everything that happens before, making the whole story up to that point moot. I am not a fan of those unless they are handled well.

Sorry my opinion got you so worked up.

I wouldn't bother commenting this kind of stuff if I hadn't enjoyed the initial premise of the manga. If you still enjoy the current art style and development, good for you, I guess. Don't let other people's opinion distract you from that.

Whatever this manga was has turned into Namek. Look at how long it took to take out the majority of the old party, then look at how long it has taken to deal with Bullet alone. Count the chapters and get back to me if you still think I'm full of shit.

Nah, it's fine. It's just i don't really get the hate, especially after this long. Like yall were screaming when this was the "Rance of manga" (which is bs btw), then yall lamenting when characters do have some developments. Really, what the hell yall want from the manga? Idgi.

The story progress in the most makes sense than the majority of stories out there, there's not plenty of "plot armor" moment all around iirc, Keyaru literally only sexed with the same 5 girls and yall calling him even worse than Rance? Like literally it's the most childish hate train if i ever seen one. Ofc i'm baffled with it but ya being a good sport so i'll give ya on that. That's all...

I think reading some manga with similar premises made Redo of Healer and its development seem rather weak in comparison.

A good example of that is Fukushū o Koinegau Saikyō Yūsha wa. It starts similarly, overpowered edgy hero who wants to take revenge of former pseudo allies that turned out to be huge dicks. The manga managed to stay consistent and give the hero the opportunity to act like a massive, righteous edgelord by providing new and detestable antagonists for him to torture in dumb ways as it went along. I'm not saying it's perfect, it certainly has weaker moments, but it does manage to maintain its initial appeal while still having a (somewhat solid) storyline progression.

I think Redo of Healer started falling off after Keyaru dealt with the initial cast of antagonists. Once he got his revenge, he went for a more traditional quest which doesn't really feel unique anymore, and the new antagonists have definitely less emotional impact. There is still Bullet of course, who'll hopefully get what he deserves eventually, and I guess the way he dealt with the King was kind of a highlight of the more recent chapters, but it felt like the early volumes were full of these "exciting" moments, who have now become incredibly less frequent.

(I also wouldn't dare compare the great Rance-sama to Keyaru.)

I think the reason why i don't mind this manga is going the way it is is because i don't see the story in the manga as a revenge porn fantasy, like from the get go is kinda clear where the end goal is (although with King Jioral it was kind of a decision gymnastics but it's still making sense).

(This is gonna be a long read so bare with me)

It's like a videogame story, it's been clear who are the bosses and that's it. Even (iirc) Keyaru contemplated a lot about what'd he do after he got his revenge and most of the times, again iirc, he'd just go somewhere quiet and live with his harem there. So even the concept of having new antagonists will weakened the manga imo.

I drew this comparison a lot to Goblin Slayer, both are not actually a hero/warrior/fighter but because both were driven by anger, by revenge, they became one. Keyaru and Goblin Slayer didn't want to do this but in their mind they have no choice but to be like this. While Goblin Slayer has a more positive and slow healing approach, Redo of Healer has a more conventional approach; an anti hero. All the good he did is not entirely because he's in it for the good thing, it's because he's selfish. Hell, even to some extent him wanting to save his harem is also a selfish thing from him. If, for an example, King Jioral turned out to be a good guy, there's a chance Keyaru will turn up to be a full time villain, depending how the author wants it.

Which is why this manga is interesting imo. So far, the story's been taking us with barely any help from coincidences and plot armors, every decisions were made are making sense, every character has some kind of a development. I think the only time when we can truly determine whether this manga is good or not is when Bullet dies and the world is saved. What's Keyaru gonna do afterwards? Is there gonna be more or is he gonna retire? Will he still alive or will he die? Imo that's when we know whether this manga is cooking or not. Personally, i think it's better to kill off Keyaru at the end but then again, it depends on author and whatnot.

This a personal opinion take it however u want I could care less but is author on drugs whats the point in mellowing out keyaru's personality to the point he started to actually care about the girls last chapter or the chapter before setsuna made a great point on how keyaru changed so much that he let his emotions get the better of him to the point where he may have "weakened"?
When he was revenge driven he made mistakes too. Remember what got his childhood friend/crush and hometown killed and raped? His narrow-minded act first without a plan revenge craze phase.

Kureha isn't brainwashed. She is genuinely a good person who was loyal to the wrong people. The two princesses are the only two in the harem, who are mindwiped/brainwashed.
