I suspect a lot of readers are jaded on isekai stories. Or they haven't mastered suspension of disbelief.

@frjoethesecond If I were to be completely honest and objective: There are several major flaws in the story. That isn't to say you can't still enjoy it for stupid revenge porn fun, but I can see why some people would be turned off.

The villains are all two-dimensional. It's extremely easy to write hackneyed puppy-kicking villains and illicit a response out of readers to make the MC seem righteous. It's a lot harder to make them multi-faceted individuals. Pretty much every single person he interacts with related to the kingdom though is two-dimensionally evil. That level of top-down thorough corruption is hard to believe. The MC is too perfect for a boy that was an orphan from a small farming village. He's highly experienced at information gathering, subterfuge, magic analysis, strategy, etc. to levels beyond merely inheriting some skills. The MC is also inconsistently written to be extremely callous towards people unrelated to his revenge one moment, then being fairly nice the next. Seeming to show genuine feeling for people one scene, then sociopathically lacking any emotion and merely playing the part the next.

As a funny side nitpick: Why doesn't he just Transformation Heal the traumatic memories out of his head after accumulating them for awhile?

@aereus I've read the novels and I actually kinda like them for the most part, but his cheat 'heal' is just too silly. how is it that a 'healer' can like, reverse time, switch his class from combat to magic based and back, make crazy potions, etc. and the reason he was in so much pain his first time through was from healing people, he would receive all the pain they'd ever experienced basically... but now that he's on his own he cured himself of that super quickly

Reversing time is achieved by applying his power to the world, and only possible with the use of philosopher's stone.

Achieved by simply changing his own state with his own power.

That's from the alchemist skill he steal back when he's still imprisoned.

The reason that he'd feel pain when he heals someone is because he needs to know the inside out of said person before "healing" them.
He has eye of truth now that achieve the same thing painlessly, so he ain't feeling no pain no more.

Mind Control, Stealth, Ability Steal, Invincibility, and Instant-Death Ability, all wrapped up in a single skill.
Now THIS is the kind of ability you should pick after truck-kun visit you.
