Personally i think the brainsawshing is kinda stupid, since until she recover her memories she wont be suffering for anything and instead of letting her suffer she just wipes out the board.
Is not like she cares much about her kingdom, remember that what she wanted was absolute power and i bet she would have burned her kingdowm herself if needed. At most would be a setback, not the end of the world.
Seems the author is unsure of what to do and just throw cheap sex and harem scenes just to show boobies and look edgy

Do you realize that most of the issues he had was her the reason? The corrupt country, the pedo hero, the crazy lesbo hero, who do you think was behind all of them pulling the strings? Instead he wipes her memory and use her to do... things that are actually pretty minor compared with the main issue.
Its like saying that the Count of Montecristo brainwashes Fernand Mondego to help him to get the others instead of making him suffer because it would make things easier at the start. He doesnt need her moreso when she can have the op beast girl AND the Sword Saint that is on par and even stronger than some heros (and the story is just starting im sure more will come later, all females of course so he can "level them up") maybe it would take longer, but revenge is always a dish served cold

On that sense Nidome no Yuusha is more coherent plot wise, he hates the princess so bad that he wont even feel lust for her and focus on make her life as miserable as possible, probably leaving her for the last trying to prolong her suffering as long as he can

This guy totally fails as an avenger. I'm disappointed.
He becomes as much a disgusting failure of a human being as the ones he's angry with. He literally befriends people just to have an excuse to enact revenge when they get killed, yet in his mind he totally fails to see the irony of his own actions. It's appalling. Compared to the Shield Hero who never lets his rageboner overwhelm his sanity or the guy from Nidoume no Yuusha who realizes he's not a good guy and fully embraces his edgyness, this little brat has enacted way worse things to people who were at most, just annoying.

@Isekaijin lol what do you expect someone to act like some saint after what he went through? It's reality if you can't handle it move on to another manga, this isn't some Shounen shit where the Main character has infinite faith in humanity and is naive and kind.

I read up to chapter to see what the big deal of this was. Gotta say it was ehhhh.... Not my cup of tea. I like the idea and the concept of it but I think it could have been used differently? Understand why this is revenge but- Like I said, could have been different. But that's just what I think.

I love how distorted this is. How much he can fall into megalomania. Kudos to the writer, a lot of clichês, but the mad MC is really well done. Although, not many can see this point.
