Honestly, I was losing interest in this for a while, but now that it’s time loop yuri, I can’t not keep reading it. Time loop yuri is definitely my favorite niche… I guess genre’s not the right word, maybe theme? There definitely ain’t enough time loop stories in general. I don’t want to spoil any other stories (they’re so old it doesn’t matter but still), but I’m sure you all know the other two major time loop yuri stories and I love both of them. I mean, they would probably get old if they keep making those kinds of stories, but we’ll never know until they make more of these kinds of stories. Anyway, now I’m definitely buying the volumes to support the author.

Yeah my thoughts after rereading are that this is being done to evolve Sakura and/or Andou (the prez). Hell since the false gods are higher dimensional beings its not impossible that the false god is the terminal point of evolution for either/or the two of them together, now unbound by time here to ensure its own birth. Or only one of them evolved and the resulting false god is here to ensure the other is pulled up as well.

Now to be fair I dont necessarily think I'm on the money here, but knowing how false gods are created its only logical to see the end point of an endless loop leading there.

Overall though there is an interesting point of difference between the two of them. The prez describes her interaction with Oiya-sama as it saying "why do you impede" while Sakura heard "why do you not fullfill your duty" which is interesting especially when the false god count called her a puppet of the false gods. Which she is through the timeloop, however given Oiya-sama's sakura motif she may also just have become a specter/false god in the original timeline who then initiated the timeloop for whatever purposes (maybe to ensure Andou's evolution into a false god as well for that sweet eldritch yuri)

It's also apparent now that both Andou and Sakura will revive whenever they die if only to ensure the continuation of the loop and with that it's immediately obvious that the loops aren't always going to be the same even without memories. As the immortality afforded to both of them causes Andou to take much bigger risks in the pursuit of knowledge.

Could also be that their Yuri baby is the false god, or, just a random guess, that the "duty" that Sakura is supposed to fulfill is to to get with the person her dad wants her to be engaged to (would explain why Sakura is given a chance to leave the village so early on) and the False God is her father (I mean, it's literally called Oiya-sama which is only slightly off from and is an uncommon spelling of Oya-sama, could also be referencing Oyasama tho which might end up being a similar result (Oyasama is the God of Parents afaik so she might be annoyed that Sakura isn't paying filial piety to her father's wishes?))
If the latter then we gotta kill the False God, can't let some bitchass higher dimensional eldritch horror get in the way of our lesbians with some hetshit.
