Man, it's so rare to get ACTUALLY funny writing and jokes in manga. This shit is fantastic.
I mean, it was a little justified since his thought process is definitely designed to be unlikable, but it's in the same way that villains aren't always meant to be likable people. I definitely agree that he's great as a character, I honestly can't wait to see how he reacts when Haru and Mira inevitably get together, I'm think either seething rage or expression of support, bonus points if it's a mix of both as his simp self competes with the side that is actually friends with Haru. I always love these kind of characters since they have a way of surprising you in a way similar to someone like Patrick Star saying something genius out of nowhere (only to go back to his norm immediately after.)The hate for Dan has always been unjustified. This guy is absolutely great. The fact that he's actually SOMEWHAT of a good friend is just icing on the cake.
Thank you. Been on Dan train from day 1The hate for Dan has always been unjustified. This guy is absolutely great. The fact that he's actually SOMEWHAT of a good friend is just icing on the cake.
He's so confused, his evil scheme ended up being good. He's the opposite of "He's a little confused, but his heart's in the right place," being something more like "He's pretty smart, but his heart is in the wrong place," and it's honestly pretty funny when side of him shows, since I love seeing characters like him take the L when it's their own plans that bite them in the butt
Thank you. I was beginning to think I was the only one thinking this. The hate for Dan has always been unjustified. This guy is absolutely great. The fact that he's actually SOMEWHAT of a good friend is just icing on the cake.
