My guess? Shinomiya Taicho acted as an organ doner and provided a new heart for Hibino. Taicho's body may be long gone, but the heart/core has been treated as a less tangible "concept" this arc anyway. I would much prefer if Hibino got a new core, like you're suggesting, but the way I read it, our boy's going back to being fully human. ;w;I don't remember Isao having anything that can be given to Kafka though...
Number 2's core? Isao's Kaiju-fied consciousness the same way the collective regret of Meireki Era Troops became a fly kaiju? maybe? Idk, this part isn't particularly well set up![]()
I agree. A bit of a shame but as the old saying goes, "at least its over."It really did start strong. Somewhere it just felt like the author didn't know where to go with the premise, so he turned it into a stereotypical battle manga with a (possible, by the looks of it) cliched ending as well
