Additional reference, the Javelin was extensively used by the Ukrainians against Russian forces. Very likely responsible for a lot of the Russian tank losses. That weapon is indeed called the Javelin, not sure where the "AK" part is coming in, I was thinking maybe a Cold Weather variant particular to mountain warfare's guys in Alaska would lend it the AK designation and followed it into this manga as the "snow version" that the JSDF uses, but no such thing seems to exist.
Interestingly, a lot of people don't know that the most expensive part of the launcher is that "computer panel" scope called the CLU, and you reload those launchers by attaching new missile tubes to the CLU. We often used the CLU on its own as a thermal camera (like in the manga) for spotting but just leaving the tube off since it was so heavy/awkward.
AHHH, now that I think of it "AK" probably means Anti-Kaiju, since the Javelin is often referred to as Javelin AT for "anti-tank." Hope that helps!
