...are we supposed to know who that guy at the end is?

I don't know why I am surprised the brothel is a secret operation by the corporation that makes the robots. So much for a happy ending, I guess.

you'd think they'd just program them as sex bots to begin with , with like fake moans and techniques or whatever i guess other than specific cases most ppl wouldn't care if they can cook

tho other than some strict nda or so, you'd think it'd be 'leaked' if not some customers being like 'these bots by x company was seen at y brothel" on an sns post

I assume it’s got something to do with the fact that they all look like and are dressed like middle schoolers - you can make excuses for “anatomical accuracy”, but them already being programmed to be sex bots would be basically inexcusable. On the other hand, what people do with their “trained personal assistant” bots after they’ve bought them has nothing to do with the company, and they can’t be held liable if the bots just so happen to end up at that one specific place.

I suppose so but you can def find 'loli onaholes' based on fictional charas and all that, but surely they'd still have 'adult models' for ppl that like thicc butts and large boobs lol, but yeah if this wasn't an ecchi/more fleshed out, i can imagine some rich elderly lonely ppl/parents who lost a kid/empty nest syndrome have one, if not someone like the other high schooler boy who wanted a friend and such, though there is a DBH manga adaptation apparently

(although surely one tech/IT guy would be able to examine their insides/brain/chips to reveal info or so unless it's un-hackable or so)

It seems to me the corporation wants to keep a facade of legitimacy. They are, of course, aware of who their actual client base is, so they are "servicing them" accordingly (the anatomically correct dolls), but leave the "software" upgrades to the clients. The "convenient" programming that puts the dolls in a set course to their secret brothel is an obvious choice too. After all, they can keep making money even after the "owner" is tired of the bots.

Honestly, it is diabolically efficient. You have a front that gives a sense of legitimacy to the public. A client base that has no interest in revealing what the actual service they are providing is, and a way to keep extracting money from the dolls after they are abandoned.
