tho other than some strict nda or so, you'd think it'd be 'leaked' if not some customers being like 'these bots by x company was seen at y brothel" on an sns post
It seems to me the corporation wants to keep a facade of legitimacy. They are, of course, aware of who their actual client base is, so they are "servicing them" accordingly (the anatomically correct dolls), but leave the "software" upgrades to the clients. The "convenient" programming that puts the dolls in a set course to their secret brothel is an obvious choice too. After all, they can keep making money even after the "owner" is tired of the bots.
Honestly, it is diabolically efficient. You have a front that gives a sense of legitimacy to the public. A client base that has no interest in revealing what the actual service they are providing is, and a way to keep extracting money from the dolls after they are abandoned.
