It's definitely an important discussion to have. Robots and AI are going to render A LOT of jobs obsolete over the coming decades, and this is potentially very problematic. And the more human-like we make them the more difficult it will be to justify our own existence. it's gonna be skynet for real.

It's still a really fucking expensive item, like people take care of their expensive stuff, even if you treat it like an expensive computer or a luxury sex toy, people take special care of those, like only the ultra-wealthy could afford to abuse their robots, and they don't need to cause they can abuse people instead.
