How annoying, this is 3 chapters in a row where literally nothing happens. No progress at all on the leveling, travel, characters, or story. All we get is "random character appears, then leaves back for home, likely to show up in some cameo at the very end when they fight demon lord for the last time, this or next loop".

Yeah, the last few chapters are pretty much telling me the manga's getting axed so the author's trying to tie up as many loose ends as possible with Albus' remaining party members.

i like the approach that the author is trying to make. It’s a bit clumsy and doesn’t help the story progress at all but speedrunning it in one chapter is a nice way to tell that it was a tale already told. It happened before so they just decided to skip it. It’s just the first time to us, not to them.
Some people are really harsh about it tho :/

Enjoy the slow down time man. You’re gonna miss it when the series ends

That was a neat perspective. Honestly I find it kind of rare that a Japanese author would portray an Eastern-style nation in a cunning, ambitious, and cruel sort of manner. Of course, that only extends to the "emperor" in this case.

Still, it's a take that isn't seen very often.
