You know how stories about apparently asexual people always ends up with any asexual characters getting magically ‘fixed’ and becoming conformant to the sexual hegemony, in order to provide sexual viewers with fan service / not have us think to much about the fact that people come in a lot of awesome flavours, presenting and awesomely wide palette of colours to paint stories with?
Yea, this one doesn’t do that. The characters get to be themselves. It’s not perfect (I mean… what is?), but it’s a lot better than I think I’ve seen before, on the specific issue of asexuality in comics.
