I just speed read this manga, and this thing is so weird, every 10 chapters he has a creative crisis, the girl has to come and lift his spirits up, he confesses that he loves her internally of course, then it repeats, and now we are on 50 chapters, and i swear it is like this story has reached the end point 4 times already

The childhood friend as nice and compelling as she is, has no chances of winning this

Every chapter it feels more like this is the mangaka writing about himself. Remember his last manga was amazing and it was cancelled because it didn't sell well. The MC is basically a self-insert of the Author, and not in the usual negative way, but that in the MC the Author writes his feelings about his story with manga. I bet it was awful to write a story you enjoy have no traction and them suddenly told it will be axed. How do you deal with that? Are your stories really that boring? How can you keep going when you did so well you got your story published, but then the world ignored you. I wonder if something good happened to him or if he's writing a cry for help in Miyamoto, who might just be us, the readers? He tried one more time, putting his feelings out there and in a way we responded positively to it, similarly to how Miyamoto asks the MC to KEEP TRYING and to go back to enjoying writing manga.
