Given his last story, I feel like the author doesn't like dragging things. He's good a building up characters, and we're seeing this. I simply HOPE the editors don't ask him to milk this one. His last manga got axed (and it was an even greater story than this one... a masterpiece), it going to be a whiplash if he stretches it.

Guess i need to look it up then.
But yeah, i hope this one doesn't get dragged on for too long, but i also hope we get to see their relationship for a bit after they get together as well.. So tired of so many mangas just ending after they get together and kiss and what not..

That was done with "The Force is Female" agenda where a girlboss suddenly became good at everything and never followed the classical "Heroes Journey" writing that the original three films did so well though.

Though, my expectations of it being any semblance of good was extremely subverted there.... so.

I really like rom-com manga and I've read quite a few...
but I find most of them pretty limited when it comes to creating genuine drama (and I don't mean the "Oh no, three hot girls are into me; what do I do?" kind).
There’s almost never a real obstacle preventing the male lead from getting together with the female lead. It feels like the only way these stories progress is through that rivalry between the girls.
And in the case of this manga, I like both girls, but someone is going to have to cry, unfortunately.
