And that's what makes me sad their prior series which were good (jinrui even appealed to ecchi to try to keep itself alive) got cancelled anyways, seeing people with potential being hindered by "gyaru romcom number 364836282738" is sad, like i don't even mind the setting, i mind the lack of shine on it, it does not stand out from the normhey, sometimes you just gotta pay the bills. And despite protests from the eternally online, people want good execution over originality.
As someone who followed their works, you can def notice how it gets more generic the more they got their things axedThey probably do have creative freedom... just that being too creative and good is harder than it seems...
To be fair, generic doesn't mean "bad".... and if it's done before, that means it's easier to make good...As someone who followed their works, you can def notice how it gets more generic the more they got their things axed
The first part of your sentence doesn't line up with your profile picDon't love the excess fanservice But this manga is soo good
Issue with generic for me is that i already have like 5 or so mangas with the same premise but better, so it enters the question of "why should i read this again", like i said i'm only here to support the authors, because i wish this could shine inside the generic shellTo be fair, generic doesn't mean "bad".... and if it's done before, that means it's easier to make good...
If something is more unique, it can be harder to make it good...

Or we see it more from his perspective, and he didn't notice. How did she hide it so well, cuz he sure as hell was doing a terrible job.
She wasn't hiding it as much as our MC just didn't notice...She's way too genre savvy.
I always find it weird that when characters don't get to sleep, they're immediately dead tired. If you're that tired, wouldn't you be able to sleep? And I say that as someone who usually have problems sleeping. If you can't sleep, you're usually at some stage of too awake to sleep. The sleepiness usually comes a bit after you've calmed down, although I never had any problems staying up two days in a row as a teenager.

That's what I said. She wasn't hiding it as much as our MC just didn't notice...
