@DeanWinchester Only saw the trailer. I watched the first episode after I caught up with the manga. Great Opening theme.
I think the main reason it's his own lifestyle. Not only he has to work as a mangaka while keeping it from Hime, he also needs to take care of her. I don't know how long has been since the mother died, but I have to guess he doesn't have the time for that.
