I disagree with most of the comments here. It actually takes the most logical conclusion (but also predictable) for the MC to possess Kamimori. The open ended conclusion is suitable for a horror story as well.
Of course there was a lot that could have been expounded on without the axe. The boy whose sister died and his reaction. More about the former owners of the power. The girls that are still part of Kamimori's circle. That all goes unanswered.

Definitely axed, but the primary antagonist was taken down a peg in the only way I could see as reasonable, so it's not all bad.

Now to what I don't like: It's a shame Yukki was only used as a red herring and how the other seeming love interest is now possessed by the actual god just to make it somewhat of a horror story ending. It was also pretty disappointing how the rest of the characters were just abandoned, but maybe Mario was only given a very limited amount of pages to wrap things up.

Good thing I skipped to this comment section to check if it got axed. I hated the rape and hypnosis themes but kept reading bc I expected justice or some shit, but I guess I'll stop since it got axed and there's probably no resolution

I mean technically it's resolved, but yeah it doesn't actually feel like a resolution at all.

Spoiler: For anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the rest of the chapters:

MC has a possession power that the antagonist wants to take for himself. MC uses possession power to take control of antagonist and makes antagonist kill himself by throwing himself off a cliff.
Ironically, the story also ends on a cliffhanger because the heroine who helped MC kill antagonist is revealed to also want control of the power. The rest of antagonist's circle never shows up again and we don't know what happens to them.

Also the mystery drug the antagonist was using was fucking weed lmao.

This is one of the reasons people lost interest in the series, everyone and their dogs have sex but god forbid MC touching a tit.

You know, one of the reasons the MC is the good guy is because he tries to maintain his virtue. Some readers want MC to fuck everything that moves, and some just wants him to be the quintessential good guy all around. I actually prefer him being this virtuous guy in contrast to the antagonist. To each their own.
