So far I am quite split on this manga...

The mystery is quite compelling, but it's moving too quickly. It would be interesting if they would have kept it more lowkey at first, where one couldn't immediately tell that something is going on, just that something feels off...

I also like the protagonist, and his female friend, and the new student. The protagonists trauma is a good explanation for his fidgetness and nervousity, but it is still nuanced, he doesn't become a nervous wreck just from talking to a woman, so it's not insufferable.

Speaking of insufferable, damn, his male friend is so annoying. I don't think he has a single personality trait beyond horniness, all he ever talks about are ways to have sex. And I think he might die pretty soon.
The antagonist(?) is also quite interesting, but his "counceling" sessions did come quite out of nowhere, but his forceful personality and overwhelming charisma make sense considering he is some kind of cult leader

But that's where the positives end, and the one big negative starts:
This manga is far too horny for it's own good. Constant fanservice, far too drawn out erotic scenes, and too many stupid coincidences to have the protagonist touch a woman inappropriately.
This also goes hand in hand with the mystery coming on far too strong. You could immediately tell that someting was off, with the one woman just waiting for him in his bed, pretty much out of nowhere.

I'll keep reading for now, but I don't have any high hopes at the moment

I agree, especially that scene from chapter 3 definitely went into that territory, and arguably the one from chapter 2 as well.
And it is pretty dumpster fire-ish, but I do think that the mystery is pretty compelling, espcially with the supernatural element of this deity(?) randomly appearing

I hope they don't crash and burn with the plot line. A lot of mangakas struggle with stories like this because the pacing is hard to set properly... 2 big revelations in 1 chapter is a crazy move, could be a nothing burger but yeah ill see where It goes
