He doesn't need to go murder hobo, but as it stands he is written as such a milquetoast pushover that he would be apologizing to that malicious noble for inconveniencing him while getting beaten mostly to death before being sold into slavery. He may gain power and skills but I can see him being able to defend others but only barely ever stand up in defense of himself.

Also, so... the evil blonde guy with his evil face and evil clothes is the evil character with the evil intentions? You know, the evil guy with an evil wine-glass full of evil wine, that he is only holding so he can throw it on the ground, showing how evil he is... is he the evil bad guy?
Because I wasn't sure if there might be a 4-year-old somewhere who might have missed that the evil guy with his evil stuff was supposed to be evil.

This manga is definitely smooth-brain/2000-IQ friendly.
