The ending felt like an unsatisfying twist ending. I suppose because it was more of an exposition dump and the sci fi elements were never really alluded to aside from the reset-loops. Also the controller character never had much of a presence so i didn't feel much of a surprise when he was revealed

It doesn't end till ch 30.5 so hopefully there will be an epilog that will make things not feel so rushed and bitter

Yep so this is the (near) end. It's still as bitter the second time around... Truthfully the ending was lackluster, especially after everything they've all gone through. Even with having MTLd 30.5, there's still stuff to be wanted. Looking forward to seeing 30.5 properly translated ❤️

I want my money back (and yes, I did spend money buying the digital jp chapters). Copying what I said on the series thread.

I'm honestly so salty at the ending. Why couldn't we have a happy ending? What was the point of the romance between Chiyoko and Kyouya if they're gonna wrap it up with a bittersweet ending between her and strange guy we haven't seen in some chapters? I loved this manga, it literally lived rent free in my head for a year and a half to the point I even bought a few chapters in Japanese to try to struggle through it... and I check back and see this...?
