I get what everyone in the comments is saying about keeping a low profile, but come on, this one isn't really his fault. It's not like he expected the encounter with the monster. Should he just let it wreak havoc while he goes to put on some disguise or until the professionals arrive? Not to mention that it has already seen him and won't just let him leave without giving chase.

It's a really weird chain of events:

if he didn't go and Ritter wouldn't show up, then his sister would be in grave danger.

if he didn't go and Ritter shows up, others are going to be in danger. Sure the cleanup squad could deal with it but who knows what might've happened until their arrival.

if he went and Ritter doesn't show up, the bois would get their butts kicked anyway.
