Are you sure about that website? The onsen there is located 10 kilometers from the sea, and in southern Kyushu, far away from Chichibu.

@Nine_Gates Honestly, I looked up the name of what the room they were in was in Japanese and I found that website. It was a rather unique name and I thought it was a pretty cool website and wanted to share but yeah, it's probably a miss. If you know where it's likely they're staying, feel free to let me know and I'll patch it in.
It's most likely not Chichibu since that area is landlocked, but it'd have to be somewhere by the sea/ocean and accessible by train, possibly an express train.
