part of the problem is we just don't know what the fuck is happening, and it's all being couched in cagey motherfucker adults doing this to kids and acting with impunity and giving zero answers, for nearly 20 chapters now.Holy fuck that was brutal
It adds to the weight of him being the only one to remember his sister, we didn't get to see that, and this being his second time the way it was, damn heart crushing
Imma curl in the corner now![]()
Its like when the cousin got her hair eaten; Kazehaya didn't panic about losing her leg because her leg was erased from existence and memory. She can't panic about losing something she never had.idk if it is the writing or there's something really weird about that whole scene. She lost her leg, disregarding the blood, she should have been panicking and should have ran and jumped to them the moment she saw them. But instead she was extremely calm and smiling, and confessed???
@Friendly-Sentence710 basically stated it, but it's a facet of those monsters and when they eat you, yeah.idk if it is the writing or there's something really weird about that whole scene. She lost her leg, disregarding the blood, she should have been panicking and should have ran and jumped to them the moment she saw them. But instead she was extremely calm and smiling, and confessed???
A thousand times this, all of it. Like, either give me a low stakes series where the plot is a vehicle for horny, or do a serious story where the plot is well written and actually progresses. We're getting blue balled in both and it feels awful.part of the problem is we just don't know what the fuck is happening, and it's all being couched in cagey motherfucker adults doing this to kids and acting with impunity and giving zero answers, for nearly 20 chapters now.
And it's all couched in the ecchi factor that's intrinsically tied to the plot, so we have teens having sex to get to some pocket world but they're fighting monsters that erase even the memory of you from existence and there's no rationale or explanation for any of it as far as the plot goes.
So hopefully we start getting the "why" soon, as far as MC's sister and now this latest victim go and why they were Disappeared, who the adult here is with his sidekick, why Snake Girl is involved but seemingly rogue, what ultimate aims are being sought in all of this, and so on.
Because while it's all an excuse for the sex and lewd, the actual events are dramatic and traumatic enough that, with no narrative victory for the protagonist and crew, it's kinda like some weird offshoot misery porn with them running in circles chasing an unclear goal.
And I'll be here next chapter too, I guess lol
