Honestly if this story doesn't end with that smug bastard and his sh!tty assistant getting there comeuppance, I'm going to be so pissed. I really it ends with them both being devoured themselves, pieces of sh!t

Holy fuck that was brutal :meguuusad:

It adds to the weight of him being the only one to remember his sister, we didn't get to see that, and this being his second time the way it was, damn heart crushing

Imma curl in the corner now :fml:
part of the problem is we just don't know what the fuck is happening, and it's all being couched in cagey motherfucker adults doing this to kids and acting with impunity and giving zero answers, for nearly 20 chapters now.
And it's all couched in the ecchi factor that's intrinsically tied to the plot, so we have teens having sex to get to some pocket world but they're fighting monsters that erase even the memory of you from existence and there's no rationale or explanation for any of it as far as the plot goes.

So hopefully we start getting the "why" soon, as far as MC's sister and now this latest victim go and why they were Disappeared, who the adult here is with his sidekick, why Snake Girl is involved but seemingly rogue, what ultimate aims are being sought in all of this, and so on.

Because while it's all an excuse for the sex and lewd, the actual events are dramatic and traumatic enough that, with no narrative victory for the protagonist and crew, it's kinda like some weird offshoot misery porn with them running in circles chasing an unclear goal.

And I'll be here next chapter too, I guess lol

So, her head got crushed like a watermelon and her limbs torn off. She's dead. Even if they restore their memories and physical form, you're straight-up restoring a corpse. There's no hope of rescue, just closure at that point. I could be wrong - The Sun reversed suggests temporary setbacks, a need for renewed enthusiasm, or overcoming past darkness to find renewed optimism. But for now, she dead dead.

Can we get a protagonist that actually fights back instead of just getting shat on? Even if he does wind up losing because the opponent is trained, at least we see him trying. He didn't even try to fight back against that assistant.

idk if it is the writing or there's something really weird about that whole scene. She lost her leg, disregarding the blood, she should have been panicking and should have ran and jumped to them the moment she saw them. But instead she was extremely calm and smiling, and confessed???

I wanted the lewd loli to stop making the sexytimes really weird but... not like this :meguuusad:

Going iwth what others are saying, I'm not exactly wanting to drop this exact but the urge to "wait for it to complete then see if we get payoff or just a bunch of misery porn leading to a rushed unsatisifying axe-kun driven final chapter" is strengthening.

Its like when the cousin got her hair eaten; Kazehaya didn't panic about losing her leg because her leg was erased from existence and memory. She can't panic about losing something she never had.
She confessed because while she didn't realize her leg was gone, she knew she was in trouble from Mr. Creepy and that was going to be her last chance.

@Friendly-Sentence710 basically stated it, but it's a facet of those monsters and when they eat you, yeah.

If they consume a part of someone, that "part" is erased from their memory. If a whole person is consumed, then the entire person is erased from everyone's memory.
Except MC, for some reason. He also is the only one who remembers his sister, and now Kazehaya, and that has not been explained as of yet.

A thousand times this, all of it. Like, either give me a low stakes series where the plot is a vehicle for horny, or do a serious story where the plot is well written and actually progresses. We're getting blue balled in both and it feels awful.
