In the story, it was about two women claiming that a baby was their child, which means that one of them must be lying.
So when they're told to pull the baby, the fake mother did it without second thought, while the real mother let go because she couldn't bear to hurt her baby.

But now I wonder, if both mothers decided not to pull the baby, wouldn't the story get a yuri end?
