Nadeko realized real quick just how fucked she was, and everything she said just kept piling on worse, all while trying to dig her out of a hole she was shoved into because Ami thought it was interesting and poked the bear.

Kyougi was completely useless here, a blind fool in love doesn’t even describe the levels of stupidity he’s been showing. Though this chapter was amazing if for no other reason then because it showed us what a jealous Kanan looks like, a true demon is definitely a good descriptor, though I guess Kyougi would call her a goddess.

Nadeko was beyond terrified this entire chapter, like a cornered animal she realized just how dangerous a person Kanan is, along with the situation she was in. It speaks somewhat to Kanan’s character that she didn’t pay attention to the words, only the implications and the feeling of inferiority was enough to push her over the edge. She seems like the type to focus on the negatives of something, rather than the positives of it. So flattery really doesn’t work on her when she’s pissed, in fact it does the exact opposite and angers her more.

Kyougi has a rough life ahead of him if she’s like that, either that or it’ll be very easy since she essentially melts in his hands when he pushes hard enough. She might be a little prickly on the outside, but that’s all rather easy to by pass and get right to the soft sweet center. Like a cactus or pineapple, except in this case it’s just as easy to get yourself stabbed as it is to completely ignore the prickly bits. It’s all about personal ability and relationships.
