Did we just casually get told that kuruto is immortal. This manga is a doozy

We saw bandana looking at what look like a bunker entrance, so Kuruto's village might be sitting inside some kind of subspace with time dilation effect.
They do seem like the type of people that would build their village in a hyperbolic time chamber. :dogkek:

At the same time Kuruto seems like the type to brew an immortality elixir and taste test it like it was soup. :dogkek: :dogkek:

I feel like it's more that some annoying king was demanding they use their power for him (to 'unite the world' i.e. conquest) and the villagers find that too annoying, but they don't feel like fighting against humans, and going into hiding for so long is also boring.

So they just build the subspace, that way they 'only' need to hide inside for 1 year, then voila the asshole king would be dead of old age after 100 years pass outside.
Then maybe they just forgor to undo the subspace since...eh, why bother now.

I wonder if Kuruto's tribe are actually gods. That would explain why their works are so miraculous, and work for healing and destroying undead so well.

As annoying as this is, at least it would mean that his village is just in some pocket dimension and he could not reenter it. It would also explain why the village just suddenly disappeared when everyone can drop kick the demon lord. The village just time jumps or something like that. You know like 13 monkeys.

It still does not excuse the bad writing that till now we have to do this whole song and dance to lie to him just because after nearly a year they could not communicate to him that what he does is good. Even his refusal to be the head and accepting the titlewas just getting annoying, especially when everyone saw that he was the one who actually ended this whole fight.

But being as dense as a blackhole is just a requirement in this kind of OP stories.

Wonder if MC just wipes his memories out every couple of hundreds of years? unless its time travel bullshit and my god do I dislike time travel shit cause it gets messy as fuck
The last time she saw him would've been at his village, so maybe there's a time dilation of some sorts there? The entire village itself is beyond OP. There's no way it can exist in the natural world, so I can imagine something like the whole village being time displaced.

MC is so oblivious he doesn't even notice the passage of time.

Nothing to be surprised about, he made hildegard immortal like it was nothing, for his village it's just a 'oopsie you can't die now'

1200??? man he age slower than elves...
I'm guessing his village has a festival drink they drink for festivities activities and that drink is something the S-rank -cough- SSS -cough local herbologist cook up (a secret youth potion?? or slow aging potion). Either way no one in his village is normal in the general sense
with their logic maybe they think its just like simple tea drink that they drink DAILY AND COMMON like nothing special

I personally feel like Kuruto being dense isn't the problem. The problem is the others not telling him that the ways of his people are too much for the normal people.
I believe that them letting him create an holy relic thinking he's making a butter knife is worse than his ability of making a butter knife on par with a national treasure...if it makes sense.
Maybe he'd still find it weird, but if they were to tell him the full story about his godly skills and how they kinda don't fit in their society and how he should tone it down a bit, that would create less problems than him obliviously breaking all common-sense.
Like, dude has been cutting bread with mithril knives all his life, how can he understand that normally it's not possible if they don't tell him lol

So...new raw sorta answer your question...
Lise straight up told him how OP he is.
Then he just collapse and doesn't wake up.

Lise goes to the priestess in the cell to ask about this.
Priestess said this happened before and he usually wakes up after 24 hours.
But also warn Lise to stop praising him too much, because the cause of his collapse seems to be whenever he get overly (properly) praised for things he did.
Worse yet, he ALWAYS forget about the moments prior to his collapse.

So people have indeed told him about how OP he is before and he drop ded and forget about it as a response.

Welp...if that's the premise, I'm gonna go and shoot myself :dogkek:
I've read dumb reasons/plot devices, but this beats them all
